Work meetings for introduction with the Icelandic model for prevention and exchange of practices
For the need of the activity implementation, we have conducted work meetings with experts from SPOC in Iceland. The meetings held there provided the opportunity for the effective exploration of the Icelandic model that has led to substantial reduction of the levels of criminal behavior and abuse with psychoactive substances among juveniles and young parents in Iceland.
The primary aim for the conduct of the work meetings in Iceland was the exploration of the innovative Icelandic practices and models for prevention. During the meetings held we have discussed the relation between the drug use and crime committing factors in the two countries. The work meetings gave the opportunity for us to exchange ideas and paradigms for taking possible actions in order to promote the bilateral relations between the two countries.
