Exchange in Norway
In November 2014 experts from SPOC visited the partner organization Peacepainting’s office in Terrak, Norway. The aim of the visitation was to explore good practices for establishment peace and agreement between the representatives of various ethnic and religious communities through „an implicit language“- an interactive approach, used in Norway for accomplishment of social cohesion through intuitive painting. During the visitation, our experts had the opportunity to attend conducted activities on topic „Painting for peace“, implemented by the partners and to witness the achievement of results, connected with accomplishment of social cohesion between various ethnicities and nationalities in Norway. The team of SPOC was at the events, organized by the partner organization and observed the used methodology for accomplishment peace and agreement in the course of the held painting classes.
The Experts had the opportunity to meet with the Mayor of Terrak and also to get acquainted with the work of the Municipality.

During their visit to Norway, the experts visited the so called “House of Tolerance” in Trondheim, where they exchanged experiences and ideas with their colleagues.
The Project „Exchange of practices and creation of a model to limit hate speech by creating a culture of tolerance and recognizing diversity” is financed within he NGO Programme in Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014.
