Conference
At the conference “Mental Health – stigmas, prejudices and consequences” were presented best Norwegian practices regarding mental health and the fight against social stigmas. It was discussed the role of support from the family, friends and peers. The conference highlighted the importance of access to employment and social inclusion of people with mental problems.
The conference was opened with greetings from Mrs. Verginiya Micheva – Ruseva, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria; Dr. Elvira Foteva – Directof of Department of international activities, projects and programs and Head of programming operator program BG 07; and Mrs. Albena Drobachka – Project manager and Chairman of the Association SPOC. Greetings were sent by Dr. Petar Moskov – Minister of Health, Dr. Adam Persenski – Deputy Minister of Health and Head of operational programme “Initiatives for public health,” Ms. Denitsa Sacheva – Deputy Minister of labour and social policy, Dr. Ventsislav Grozev – Chairman of the Board of BAS, Dr. Krasimira Kovachka – Chairman of the Committee on Health.
