Conduct of training seminars for the developed system
The project activities include seminars for disseminating the practice and training in the pattern of specialists from NGOs and public institutions to assist adolescents who are experiencing grief.
In training seminars took foreign trainers. The seminar participants were acquainted with psycho-social system for actions in support and counseling for children and young people experiencing grief in Norway. The training included tips and hints that can help parents and peers to support children in sorrow that experience. Attendees mastered techniques to support adolescents how to recognize symptoms of serious psychological trauma. With the seminar will spread the practice of supporting grief in children, which should be a priority and have implications for the work of specialists with supporting professions.
Participating experts in seminars practical training mastered helping children to experience grief in a new, convenient and a good way for them.
Participation in the workshop training took psychologists and social workers from NGOs – organizations incl. Roma, whose activities are connected with support and counseling to children and families from the majority and minorities. Representatives of public administration: teachers, class teachers, school psychologists; doctors, interns and volunteers SPOC.
Seminar helps to spread the psycho-social support system for children and youth among specialists and experts from the development model – SPOC and the Norwegian organization Voksne for Barn. Employees and experts colliding in practice and occupation with children experiencing grief had the opportunity to acquire resource of knowledge and skills to deal with situations by speaking the right words and support, consulting and terapevtirane adolescents, relatives and classmates them. The seminar created an opportunity for cross-sector partnerships for subsequent exchange of knowledge and dissemination practices.
