ASSOCIATION “SUSTAINABILITY OF PROGRESSIVE AND OPEN COMMUNICATION” is established in 2011. The main objectives of the organization are to:
1. Contribute for development of social and civic skills and competencies;
2. Contribute for development of European values;
3. Encourage the youth initiative and sustainable development of the society;
4. Expand the field of social partnership with giving opportunities for participation in a wide range of representatives of institutions and NGOs;
5. Interact with the local and national government and support the development of strategies and policies;
6. Develop and test innovative approaches , methodologies and other instruments, oriented to improvement of the education and functioning of the civil society and achievement of European cohesion;
7. Support and promote the PR as an activity in favor of the development of the modern society.
Among the priorities of the Association are to train children and guarantee their safety and security. The accent is on the preventive measures against the antisocial behavior and the illegal actions of criminal individuals. Association “SPOC” aims to provide knowledge, practical skills and behavioral habits and attitude for adequate actions in case of extreme situations.
The activities of the organization include a wide range of communities, representatives of different ages and professional guilds, while putting the accent on the psychological and social aspects of the prevention – daily extreme necessity of the modern individual. The main efforts and activities are referred to children and youngsters. According to the concrete proposals from the principals of the schools, the trainings of the students are taking place during the form tutor sessions. With those complex activities in the schools we manage to create a sense of responsibility towards the society and consistent attitude for respect the life, health, property and opinion of the others.
The initiatives of association “SPOC” are supported by all state institutions and authorities, engaged with the security, safety and health of the children and the society
The organization participates in the working groups and expert councils of the “National Network of Children” and Advisory Board in the Municipality of Sofia, section “Public order and safety” and “Leisure time of the children in Sofia”.
