In 2011 the team of the association together with a big business organization developed and applied with a project proposal related to establishment of social innovations in companies. The main objective of the project was to ensure the social benefit for the employees of the company, which had to satisfy the desire of the employees to meet together and discuss various topics and events part of the workflow without feeling discomfort and difficulty of finding a suitable place / room for this type of social interaction. The idea was to establish a place which will ease the communication between them. This will also have a positive effect on the improvement of the social communication between the different levels in the company – employees, administration and management. The project was highly appreciated and approved – there was a signed contract for funding in 2012. At the moment the project is on stage implementation.

Development of project proposal “Abolishment of the barriers and creating a bridge between ethnicities and generations”

Association “SPOC” developed a project proposal for the Roma organization “DAR-2004” under the Operational Program “Human Resource Development”, priority “Educational integration of children and students from the ethnic minorities”. The contract for the project is signed in 2013. The general objective of the project is “Ensuring the necessary conditions and resources for implementation of the integration process of the students from 136 High school “Lyuben Karavelov” throughout their desegregation”. The main activities of the project are related to supporting the integration process of children and students from ethnic minorities and decreasing the number of the early dropouts and early school leavers by providing equal access to education and training.

Major objective: Integration of students from ethnic minorities in 136 High School “Lyuben Karavelov” by providing suitable conditions and resources and increasing their motivation for participating actively in the educational process. Specific objectives: supporting the integration process of children and students from the ethnic minorities and decreasing the number of early dropouts and early school leavers by providing equal access to education and training and additional educational and entertaining activities; increasing the motivation of parents and families of children from ethnic minorities to implement more effective integration process by attracting them as active participants in the socio-cultural multiethnic communication inside and outside of the educational facility; increasing the capacity of the pedagogical staff in the school for accomplishing successful model and work for integration of students from the ethnic minorities.
